Noob Looking for Help - Increase Frame Rate

Hello All,

I need some assistance. I am running a Dell 710 H2C with Vista Ultimate, Quad core processor, 4GB RAM, Duel Nvidia SLI 8800 GTX, 2 stripped 10,000 rpm HDD. I'm an avid WOW player, I also play Counterstrike. WOW tech support is freaken worthless! Since the last WOW patch 3.1.3 my frame rate has been cut in half. With all the in game video settings maxed I use to consistently get 60FPS no matter what I was doing in game. Now it gets as bad as 20FPS. I have the Nvidia control panel, but not sure what to change to increase performance. I have the Nvidia default setting to best Quality. Does anyone know of any reference materials where I can learn how to tweak my performance? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
